Trump Signals Winding Down Iran Military Operations

Asharq News Washington Bureau Chief Hiba Nasr reports Trump stating:

"We are getting very close to meeting our objectives as we consider winding down our great Military efforts in the Middle East with respect to the Terrorist Regime of Iran"

This is great news — and it's exactly the off-ramp we argued for five days ago. The President's own logic chain was already complete: Iran's military capability degraded, the Strait of Hormuz isn't America's problem, other countries should lead, and the U.S. doesn't need Gulf oil.

Now he's saying the quiet part out loud — objectives are nearly met, time to wind down. Declare victory and bring our people home. The sooner the better.
